Returns

Unopened kits, cans and gear can come back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment. Opened food cannot be resold, so it cannot be returned, but if something is wrong with it we will still make it right.

How to start a return

1. Open your order confirmation email and choose Start a return.
2. Pick the items and the reason. A prepaid label arrives by email within an hour.
3. Tape the box shut, stick the label on and drop it at any carrier location within 14 days.

Refunds

We refund within two business days of the box reaching Reno, and your bank usually shows it 5 to 7 days after that. Return shipping is free on orders over $149. Under that, $9.95 comes off the refund unless the return is our mistake.

Damaged or wrong

A dented can is still sealed and safe, but a punctured one is not. Send a photo of the box and the can to hello@survivalnation.com within 7 days of delivery and a replacement ships the same day. You keep the damaged one.

Freight orders

The 60 and 90 day kits and pallets return on the same freight service they arrived on. Email us first and we will book the pickup. Freight returns carry a $79 collection fee unless the kit arrived damaged.

Exchanges

We do not run exchanges. Return the item for a refund and place a new order, which ships straight away rather than waiting for the return to land.
